The organization Lives in the Balance under the guidance of Dr. Ross Greene has developed what they call Collaborative Proactive Solutions and an evaluation called the ASUP (Assessment of Skills and Unsolved Problems). They propose working with children using Plan B and Plan C instead of what most caregivers have been doing, which they call Plan A. We are not affilitated or trained by this organization but inspired by their work we look forward to sharing the framework and talking through how it might support your family. This model is most suited to children ages 2+ though like our other inspirations this work it is not prescription of things to do and rather a change in the way you see and think about people of all ages.In our 90 minute parent meeting you'll learn:
About changing the lens with which you see behavior. = Kids do well if they can.
How to identify what a child's unsolved problem is.
When and how to proactively problem solve with your child. = Plan B
What to do with problems you haven't yet solved. = Plan C
