About this Event
Collaborative Futures draws from a series of youth-led co-design workshops facilitated by the Pratt SoD Co-Design Studio in partnership with the Stephen T. Mather Building Arts and Craftsmanship High School and National Park Service. This retrospective looks back on a year-long collaboration to offer a glimpse into the future of community-engaged design practice. Viewers are encouraged to engage with the exhibition and to contribute through participatory action.
Our Exhibition Opening will be held on: Thursday, October 20, 2024 @ 4-6pm at The Swale House, Nolan Park House 11, Governors Island, NYC
Event schedule:
4:00-4:15 arrival (taking 3:45 pm ferry from Battery Maritime Building. Last ferry leaves at 4:15)
4:30 opening remarks by exhibition curators, project partners from NYCDOE and NPS, co-design students from Stephen T. Mather and Pratt.
4:45- 5:45 exhibition viewing, student-led walking tours to Bldg 107 Maker Space
6:00 ferry departure from Governors Island
