About this Event
Hey Chicago! Come elevate your espresso game.
Join us at the Sip Society Coffee Education Studio (1806 W Cuyler) to deepen your knowledge of espresso. THIS IS OUR INTERMEDIATE ESPRESSO CLASS! We'll use TDS meters to explore extraction variables and challenge you to dial in a range of coffees from different origins, processing, and roast styles.
Have an Espresso Machine?
Bring it! We want to help you learn how to use your own machine. We will have three espresso machines, ranging from beginner to mid-range and high-end. But, we think one of the best parts of this workshop is for you to get hands-on experience with the tools you have at home. So, if you've got it, bring it!
Don't have an Espresso Machine?
We will have three machines that range from beginner and budget friendly to high end and fancy. This workshop helps people figure out what type of machine they want, so join us if you're in the market or on the fence about a machine. We'll help you figure out what works for you.
Who are we and why should you join us?
The workshop will be led by Bradley and Matthew, who have over twenty years of experience in the coffee industry. We formed Sip Society in 2024 to focus on coffee education with a particular emphasis on everyday drinkers in addition to professional coffee people.
