Sen. Hertel lives in St. Clair Shores and serves in the Michigan Capitol as the State Senator representing the people of Michigan’s Senate District 12, which includes Algonac, Chesterfield Twp, Clay Twp, Clinton Twp (part), the Grosse Pointes, Harper Woods, Harrison Twp, Ira Twp, Mount Clemens, New Baltimore and St. Clair Shores.
