One day women’s self-defense class:
In this one-time class we will cover very simple but effective self-defense techniques (punches, kicks, other strikes, and some holds/pins), that may just give you the opening and time to escape from an attacker.
The materials covered in the class are all age appropriate, however some topics covered are direct and can be mature.
We will cover safety options when out walking, being abducted, or followed by a pursuer; to include store abductions and car jackings.
We will also discuss the legal ramifications of self-dense and how to legally protect yourself after an encounter.
Everyone will be highly encouraged to participate in the physical training, but if someone is uncomfortable with this participation as an observer is appreciated for everyone’s comfort. Students will on occasion work in small groups with each other, so bringing a friend or family member is always encouraged!
The overall goal of this class is to learn the empowerment that as a woman you are capable of protecting yourself and hope to help you avoid giving into intimidation and fear.
