About this Event
Python is an open source programming language that is used for creating web applications, web content, mathematics and system scripting. In this online course you will learn how python code works and given time to practice.
In this second online Python session we will leverage everything we learned about loops and blocks in part one to create our very own functions. We'll take a look at how to approach function design, how to allow users to enter data into functions through arguments, and how to get our functions to return results. We will also introduce some new data structures which, unlike variables, can hold more than one piece of data at a time.
Prior to the class, participants will need to download and install Python and VS Code onto their personal computers (installation guides provided after registration).
Registration is limited and specific instructions including information about software installation will be provided.
