About this Event
Coding@ is a volunteer-led community group for young people aged 7 to 17 - to learn to code and make things. It’s free to come along, no previous coding experience required.
There will also be the following activities :
- learn how to code a website
- Play with BBC micro-bit and Zip Halo
- Learn about AR
- learn and create Scratch games
- learn Python and JavaScript
- or just work on your own projects with some assistance from the mentors
As always there will be Show & Tell at the end for ninjas to present projects created on the day or other cool projects they have been working on recently, these are not limited to things done at this session.
Practical info Please bring a laptop with you, either fully charged or with a cable.
*All attendees need to present a ticket to the building security to gain access to this Workshop*
All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the session.
If tickets are unavailable, please join the waitlist. The event is completely free but numbers are limited and we do ask that you register and get a ticket in advance so that we can plan for the correct numbers. If you reserve a ticket and are unable to attend, please inform us and we can re-issue to the waitlist.
