Laura Salazar-Hopps, MDiv, BCC, leads Code Lilac for Memorial Hermann Health System. Code Lilac’s mission is to provide compassionate, confidential, and timely peer-to-peer support for members of Memorial Hermann’s workforce experiencing stressful patient or work-related event.

She is a former palliative care chaplain and nonprofit director. She graduated with a BA from Boston College in English and International Studies, and a Masters of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School in Buddhist Studies.

Join Laura as she talks about the Code Lilac program, how it works, and the benefits. She will also talk about a couple of self-care interventions and strategies for caregivers.
