Join us as we make a special tribute to Legendary Nuyorican Poet JORGE BRANDON “EL COCO QUE HABLA” with the debut of a work of art created by #bebebambu in his honor.
At the @piraguaartspace Gallery..Scan the QR codes and immerse yourself in the rich history of the “Vajigante” as we celebrate the Coconut Mask as a symbol of resistance and spirituality. The artwork portrays this important figure as an extraordinary hero who represents Puerto Rico’s Afro-Caribbean and Indigenous heritage through the ages.
