‼️ TICKETS NOW ON SALE ‼️North Carolina’s darkwave duo Dead Cool kicks off our first live show of the new year on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26th at The Drunken Unicorn! 🥀
Dead Cool takes its name from a Chrome Cranks cut, a sly nod that hints at the duo’s taste for grit and glamour in equal measure. Johnny drives the songs with a mix of voice, synth, and guitar that shifts shape from track to track, while Angela anchors the pulse on bass and lifts the melodies with her harmonies. Together they strike a balance between urgency and atmosphere, somewhere in the wide terrain of darkwave, post-punk, and synthpop!
And joining them on stage is the Latin darkwave project Redder Moon and Atlanta-based goth-synth solo act Picture One!
And as always, Drunken Unicorn’s bartenders will be slinging cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages as we ease into the end of the week for this one, so loosen your tie, put on your boots, and come dance the night away with us! 🦇
