Taking inspiration from natural phenomena, Allen’s ceramic sculptures explore the human tendency to project physical traits onto abstract forms. Cloudforms captures the amorphous nature of a cloud in delicate porcelain. These works mimic the fluidity of clouds, inviting viewers to reflect on perception’s mutability. Each piece distils a cloud’s shifting presence into a single form, challenging us to interpret the natural world.
