Up & Coming is delighted to offer a Spring Clothing Swap Party!May 17th anytime between 2-5 pm to enjoy.
Participation is $25 or just $10 when you bring some items to swap. Snacks and refreshments are included!
The swap begins with 4-5 big bins that have been carried over from prior swaps, so even the first people to arrive will have plenty of options to choose from!
Swap items are all laid out on the carpets for people to leave what they no longer want to take what they do want, no limit!
The best of the leftovers are offered to local upcyclers , and then carried over to the next swap. The excess clothes are donated to Hope Cottage, the local women's shelter, or their thrift store, so the gals who need clothes get them next.
This is an excellent way to sustainably offload some unwanted clothing, economically acquire some new garments, and participate in local economy and culture!
Come with a friend, and make some new friends too!
