Clothes for a Cause isn’t just a sale — it’s a movement.
Born from a simple need first envisioned by Jami Anderson of East Nashville — what do we do with an abundance of clothing generously donated at our church that isn’t practical for life on the streets? — this event has grown into something beautiful.
What began as a creative solution has become a semi-annual pop-up boutique that brings women together, clears out closets, and channels generosity directly into grassroots organizations serving our city.
It’s sustainable. It’s empowering. It’s fun.And every single dollar raised goes right back into our community.
Why It’s So Special

✨ It feels like a boutique — not a thrift sale.We transform the space into a curated retail experience complete with music, lighting, mannequins, rugs, full-length mirrors, scented candles, and even a changing room. You can browse, experiment, and discover styles, colors, and pieces you may have never dared to try.
✨ It’s generosity made simple.Everything you give — whether clothing or dollars — multiplies.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
We need you in TWO ways: Donate + Shop
1️⃣ Donate
In the middle of a closet purge? Bring us your clean, fabulous women’s clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, and even select housewares.
Your donations become inventory for the boutique — and then become funding for local nonprofits.
(If you’d like to volunteer to help hang clothes Wednesday–Friday before the event, we’d love you there, too!)
2️⃣ Shop
Come ready to treasure hunt!
Suggested Donation:• Saturday: $10 per basket (fill it up!)• Sunday: $5 per basket
We provide the basket — you fill it.
We accept cash, cards, Venmo, and CashApp.
Sizes range from petite through plus, teen through women’s. Styles include casual, dressy, activewear, and fun fashion-forward pieces — plus shoes and accessories.
The Heart Behind It
Clothes for a Cause was created out of compassion and creativity — a way to steward abundance while directly funding grassroots efforts in our city. What started as a practical solution has grown into a powerful gathering point for women who want to give, connect, and make an impact together.
It’s more than shopping.It’s more than donating.It’s community in action.
