About this Event
Join us for a transformative experience at a NE Portland Home as we gather to honor and celebrate the sacred tradition of the Closing of the Bones ceremony. This in-person event is designed to teach you how to create this powerful, cross cultural ceremony for women to heal and rejuvenate after childbirth or pregnancy loss. Come connect with a beautiful community of birthkeepers and care practitioners to learn about the importance of completing the birth rites of passage postpartum with ritual, as well as how to design this for mamas in your community.
Please bring a mug, a notebook, a packed lunch and a small offering for the earth.
