St. James Coffee is closing early (noon) to observe Holy Thursday, also known as Maundy Thursday. This is the first day of the Easter Triduum. It is not a Holy Day of Obligation, but it is a beautiful day to go to Mass! Going to Mass on Holy Thursday is important because it *commemorates Jesus's Last Supper
*is the institution of the Eucharist and priesthood
*gives us the commandment to love one another
Pray about participating in a "Seven Churches Pilgrimage," which is tradition of visiting seven churches to meditate on Christ's passion and sacrifice as he went from his arrest to his crucifixion. St. James Coffee's Chapel has been a stop on the Pilgrimage the last few years and will be again this year. Find info on this local Pilgrimage at the coffee shop!
