About this Event
Are you carrying worries about the climate and ecological crisis?
Sometimes these feelings can be hard to share — with friends, with family, or even out loud at all. Climate anxiety, grief, fear, anger and sadness about what is happening to our world are real, valid emotions, and you are not alone in feeling them.
A Climate Café Listening Circle is a free, simple, welcoming space where those feelings can be safely expressed and gently heard.
What happens? Following the model developed by the Climate Psychology Alliance, our circles focus on feelings rather than facts or action. There are no talks, no guest speakers and no advice — just people sitting together, taking turns to share what has brought them there, and listening with care. Circles are led by two trained facilitators from our Community of Practice.
Who can come? Anyone aged 18 or over who is holding difficult feelings about the climate and ecological crisis. No prior knowledge, experience or commitment is needed — just yourself.
We have 10 spaces available. Tea, coffee and light refreshments provided. Feel free to bring something to share, but please don't feel you need to.
Led by facilitators trained through the Climate Psychology Alliance and the Cornwall Climate Café Community of Practice, offered free of charge thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, distributed by Transition Together.
