You will be expected to attend both half-days that the course is delivered to receive a certificate of completion. There will be an optional climate and and health networking function.
This masterclass, jointly facilitated Melbourne Climate Futures and Melbourne School of Population and Global Health is ideal for those tasked with generating and synthesising evidence to inform climate and health decision-making for communities, health services and government as well as those wishing to gain a foundational understanding of implementing key steps in climate and health VCAs.
Divided into two half-day sessions, the course will provide participants with an understanding of: the fundamentals of health-related climate science, key steps in conducting a Vulnerability, Capacity and Adaptation Assessment and hands-on application with leading tools for use in your context.
