About this Event

So, you have a great research question but don’t have access to the equipment, knowledge or expertise to reveal the answer?

Explore the world of cutting-edge research infrastructure at the 2024 University of Melbourne Research Infrastructure Showcase.

From state-of-the-art laboratory equipment to advanced data analysis tools, the University’s Research Infrastructure Ecosystem provides the essential foundation for groundbreaking research in fields ranging from biotechnology to materials science.

This event introduces the University’s state-of-the-art research platforms and technologies accessible to the research community (both within and outside the University) to support and drive breakthroughs across various disciplines. Learn about the capabilities, services and expertise available within these platforms through a series of “Three Minute Thesis”-style seminars presented by each Platform Manager.

There will also be an opportunity to engage with platform staff, discuss your research needs and explore potential collaboration opportunities during an in-person provider fair and networking session over lunch.

So, whether you're an Academics, Post-docs, Research Assistants, or Graduate Researcher, join us to uncover the future of scientific exploration and innovation, expand your network and learn more about how the University’s Research Infrastructure Platforms can support your research.

Our platforms are not just about the tools and expertise available, but also about the commitment to empowering researchers with the resources they need to unlock the mysteries and do impactful science.

This is a free event, but registration is required for catering purposes. Places are limited, so reserve your ticket now!
