Clayton Ryan and his pals, Sammie Jean Cohen and Zander are touring through the WILD West this April. Clayton, a full-time musician who is a songwriter to his core, has been touring extensively since the release of his Debut LP, “Ghost Town” in July 2024. With his highly anticipated release, “Swishers” (March 21) kicking open the doors into a new era of his songwriting abilities, Clayton is bringing his songs West in their rawest form.

Howling Minnesota artist Clayton Ryan’s steady rise into the national focus is charged by both his own brand of “Midwest as F*ck” attitude and his career as a musical chameleon. As a writer, multi-instrumentalist, and performer, he’s shared stages with John Morgan, Liam St John, Canaan Cox, Julia DiGrazia, Cristina Vane, and Joshua Quimby, and his music has appeared in FOX Sports, NASCAR, CW’s Walker, Telemundo, and NFL Sunday Night Football.
Beyond the collaborative resume, Clayton has much to hang his own name on: his debut 2024 album GHOST TOWN was streamed over 10,000 times on release day, and the title track was listed on The Current’s “Top 89 songs of 2024.” Clayton’s debut at Nashville’s Whiskey Jam yielded one of only a handful of encores in the show’s 1000 run history.
His sonic identity sprawls across many genres; GHOST TOWN weaves through country soul, piano pop, and Midwestern Alt-Country throughout the 40-minute concept album, produced by Isaac Levy (Jonah Marais, Ed Sheeran, Yam Haus), platinum-selling artist Michael Shynes, and Ryan.
His upcoming releases enter the punk and emo realm full force with singles including the baritone guitar-driven ode to Midwest youth Swishers and chugging twangy punk ballad Skate Punk Cowboy, an ode to the dysfunctional modern country scene. Both are set to release in the spring of 2025.

Singer-songwriter Sammie Jean Cohen was born and raised in Minneapolis Minnesota. She brings an outlaw country but yet bluesy folk sound to the stage. She was inspired by a wide variety of music growing up like Etta James, and The Eagles being two of them. Her goals are writing unfinished songs and getting some recordings out and one day dreams of opening for The Heartless Bastards. She sings stories of true life events about her healing journey, tough times, and even sings a love song where she gets stung by a stingray! When she isn't slinging tunes on stage, you can catch her running around snapping photos at live performances, weddings and more!! Alek “ZANDER” is a singer-songwriter, performer, artist manager, and event planner in Saint Paul, MN. He has warmed up the stage for touring artists such as Deanna Carter, Hailey Whitters, John Morgan, Quietdrive, The Melismatics, and Sundown47. His contagious attitude and high-energy stage presence follows him whether he’s playing solo or with one of his multiple bands, Nashville-based Russ Parrish & The Lone Oaks, Clayton Ryan and Beyond The Trees.
With well over 1,000 shows under his belt since 2010, Zander dove head first into a life of full-time music in February 2024 and has been touring consistently ever since, both regionally, and Nationally. Career highlights include performing at Turf Club in St. paul, The Nashville Palace, The Basement Nashville, Whiskey Jam @ Whiskey Row, US Bank Stadium, and being featured on PBS twice.
