Clark After Dark: Lights Out
April 14th, 2026
7:00–10:00 PM
Ages 18+
Turn down the lights and rediscover the night sky during Clark After Dark: Lights Out, an adults-only evening celebrating International Dark Sky Week. Explore how artificial light affects our skies, wildlife, and health while diving into hands-on activities focused on how you can see our universe and your place in it.
Come learn how telescopes work, why astronomers use red lights at star parties, and how even small changes can make a big difference in protecting dark skies. You can also connect with community partners who are working to preserve the night and helping to keep our night sky accessible for future generations.
Join us for a thoughtful, hands-on night of science, advocacy, and stargazer-approved lighting. For ages 18 and up.
