About this Event
Clarendon FitFest 2026 is a community-centered wellness event presented in partnership with George Mason University, Clarendon Alliance, and Run Pacers, designed to promote active lifestyles, holistic health, and meaningful connections between George Mason University and the greater Arlington community. The event brings together students, faculty, staff, and local residents with wellness professionals and organizations to encourage physical activity, education, and access to health resources in a vibrant, inclusive outdoor setting.
The event will feature a 5K and 2 mile walk beginning at 8:00 a.m., supported by Run Pacers, and is open to participants of all ages. Clarendon FitFest is free and open to the public and will also include live fitness demonstrations, interactive wellness activities, and tabling from local fitness and wellness businesses in collaboration with Clarendon Alliance. Attendees are invited to explore community resources, engage with local partners, and celebrate health and well-being together at Mason Square Plaza from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
