About this Event
On April 15, FBA-SA will co-host an all-day civic education project with the Federal Magistrate Judges Association. Over 100 San Antonio high school students will learn about the Bill of Rights from the Honorable Henry J. Bemporad, then break into small groups facilitated by you and other lawyers volunteering for this event.
Judge Bemporad's talk provides you one hour of CLE credit; your work leading small group discussion of legal scenarios about our Constitutional rights offers you a chance to make memories and impact high school students' real-life education.
FBA-SA welcomes all volunteers to join the students for lunch. In the afternoon, the FMJA will lead students through its Robes in Schools program. Register to volunteer from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Federal Courthouse on 262 West Nueva Street, 78207.
