Poetry vs. Hip-Hop® rolls into Chicago on its 10-Year Anniversary Tour — where Poets and MCs go head-to-head in a crowd-judged lyrical battle for bragging rights, cash, and city-wide clout. This is not your average open mic or concert. This is an all-out showcase of rhythm, truth, and unapologetic artistry.
Hosted by the fearless and fire-spitting She.Unapologetic, the night features two powerhouse headliners:
- Queen Sheba – 2025 & 2024 Grammy-Nominated Spoken Word-Poet. This stop is part of her “HEALED PEOPLE DON’T ACT LIKE THIS” album and book tour — both up for your Grammy® consideration in the Spoken Word-Poetry category.
