Grab your camera or phone and join us for City Snap & Stroll — a relaxed group activity designed especially for people with disability.
About this Event

We’ll take a gentle walk through the cityscape, stopping along the way to capture photos of buildings, street art, landmarks, and everyday moments that catch your eye. Walk at your own pace, take breaks when needed, and choose how much you’d like to explore.

Whether you love photography, enjoy a casual stroll, or simply like soaking up the city atmosphere, this is a chance to connect with others, get creative, and see the city from a new perspective.

All activities and locations are chosen with accessibility and inclusion in mind. Participants are to attend with their supports.

What to bring: Please bring a Hat, Towel, Sunscreen and Water bottle. Light Refreshments for Morning Tea will be served at 10:30am)

Please contact us on 1300 007 270 or email [email protected] for further information.

Participant Group Activity Information & Rules

By purchasing a ticket and attending this RCS group activity, participants and their support worker agree to the following guidelines. These are in place to ensure everyone has a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable experience.

Activity Guidelines

1. Support & Supervision

  • RCS events are a 1:1 ratio. Participants must attend with the appropriate level of support for their individual needs.
  • Support workers, carers, or family members remain responsible for the participant they are supporting throughout the activity.

2. Safety First

  • Please follow instructions from RCS staff and facilitators at all times.
  • Activities are optional — participants may choose how and when they take part.
  • If a participant feels unwell, overwhelmed, or needs a break, supports should assist them to a safe space.

3. Respect & Inclusion

  • We ask everyone to treat others with kindness, patience, and respect.
  • RCS activities are inclusive and welcoming — bullying, discrimination, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Personal space and communication preferences of others must be respected.

4. Choice & Participation

  • Participants are encouraged to join in at their own pace.
  • There is no pressure to participate in every activity — observing or taking a break is okay.
  • Supports should encourage choice, not force participation.

5. Behaviour & Wellbeing

  • Any behaviour that places the participant, others, or staff at risk may require the activity to be paused or the participant to leave, with support.
  • RCS staff will work collaboratively with supports to manage situations respectfully and safely.

6. Personal Care & Medic*tion

  • Supports remain responsible for all personal care needs, medications, and health management during the activity.
  • RCS staff do not administer Medic*tion at group activities unless previously agreed in writing.

7. Belongings & Equipment

  • Participants and supports are responsible for personal belongings.
  • Please ensure any mobility aids, sensory supports, or equipment are clearly labelled and used safely.

8. Photography & Media

  • Photos or videos may be taken for RCS promotional purposes.
  • Consent will be respected at all times. Please inform staff if you or the participant do not wish to be photographed.

9. Weather & Environmental Conditions (if applicable)

  • Some activities are weather-dependent. RCS may modify or cancel activities if conditions are unsafe.
  • Supports are responsible for ensuring participants are dressed appropriately for the activity.

10. Shared Responsibility

  • Group activities work best when everyone plays their part.
  • By attending, participants and supports agree to work collaboratively with RCS staff to create a positive experience for all.

Thank You

Thank you for helping us create activities that are safe, respectful, and enjoyable. RCS looks forward to sharing meaningful, inclusive experiences with you.
