The City of Wausau yard waste site will be opening for the 2026 season April 1st - November 22nd.**CLOSED EASTER - SUNDAY APRIL 5TH**
**CLOSED INDEPENDENCE DAY - SATURDAY JULY 4TH**
Hours of operation are as follows:
-Monday CLOSED
-Tuesday CLOSED
-Wednesday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
-Thursday CLOSED
-Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
-Sunday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m
MATERIALS ACCEPTED:
Garden & flower debris, Grass, Leaves, Tree branches/brush
The site will be locked and gated during non-operating hours.
The site is monitored by video surveillance.
Citations will be issued to parties who leave yard waste outside the gate of the facility.
The site is for City of Wausau residents only.
The City of Wausau Appreciates you cooperation.
