About this Event
We'd like to hear from you!
The City is conducting a review of the street vending bylaws to create more opportunities for street vendors and performers through a licensing system that reflects the vibrancy of Toronto, with rules that are clearer and easier to follow. The review aims to:
- Improve opportunities for street vendors and performers.
- Modernize licensing requirements and processes to better meet and adapt to evolving and emerging business models, technological changes and environmental considerations.
- Update and clarify language to make rules easier to follow and enforce.
As part of the review, the City is consulting with street vendors and performers, restaurants, businesses, relevant resident associations and business organizations, and the public through mixed consultation methods.
You're invited to attend a public meeting to share your thoughts on street vending and performing in Toronto.
Input from consultations will inform a staff report on proposed bylaw changes. The report is expected to be presented at Committee and Toronto City Council later in 2025.
