A curious wander through the City
This walk need not cost you a penny, however an optional gratuity would be very welcome.
Ever wonder why we say ‘at sixes and sevens? and what are those badges on the lampposts outside the Royal Exchange? Why are there no roads in the City of London? Yet the streets have some very interesting names: Love Lane anybody!
We are taking a curious wander along the environs of Cheapside, why Cheap? keeping an eye out for Honey Bees, Maidens and descriptive street signs
