Trees of Snug Harbor Walk (10:30 AM – 11:30 AM) - Hear the unique qualities, fascinating histories, and ecological significance of these remarkable trees.
Tree Mulching (12:00 PM – 12:30 PM) - Trees take care of you every day: show some respect by learning how to mulch them with compost! Mulching with compost allows for moisture conservation by slowing evaporation and increasing the organic matter that can hold water.
Tree Pruning and Maintenance (12:30 PM – 2:00 PM) - What are some basic pruning techniques and tools? Learn more about the technique and importance of pruning a tree to maintain its vitality.
Apple Cider Pressing Party (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM) - Let’s gather some beautiful apples and turn them into cider with the help of the SI Advance's Food Editor, Pam Silvestri!
