CITRUS JUICE TWIST: NEW-ER QUEER-ER EVE

Welcome 2026 with style and pizzazz that we like to call: CITRUS JUICE TWIST: NEW-ER QUEER-ER EVE. Just as at our PRIDE celebration earlier this year, we will be taking over the ENTIRE venue of WATER STREET MUSIC HALL on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 9 PM - LATE with sickening talent delivering entertainment on TWO DANCE FLOORS.

On the CLUB SIDE, Rochester’s Sapphic(+) party: CITRUS will be the host for your entertainment.

For music, we are excited to bring the fabulous duo from our PRIDE celebration to command the dance floor once again. First up, we have LYDVICIOUS from Buffalo, NY, back on our Rochester dance floor. From her residencies at Twentysixallen and Sober One Six, to guest performances at party collectives including JUICE BOX, F.L.U.I.D., and The Honey Group, Lydvicious has swiftly carved a name for herself through the Western NY scene. Additionally, we will have the multitalented LITTLE MX. BUNNY on decks providing local support. We hope you are ready for the musical journey you will be experiencing on their dance floor with these two wonderfully talented DJs. Get ready to boogie all night long.

For drag, you will be treated to a special drag performance by BLEU DARLIN' and Cuban Mami. You will be treated with fabulous performances filled with energy, so make sure to bring cash to tip our wonderful performers.

On the HALL SIDE, JUICE BOX and Rochester’s Alt Drag Show: PLOT TWIST will be the hosts for your entertainment.

For music, we have our JUICE BOX co-founders and resident DJs BRIAN BUTTLETT and MAXXIE spinning bops and bangers all night long. Expect the musical journey to be a recap of this year’s certified hits, queer anthems, and more. Prepare to dance and prepare to sweat!

For drag, you will be treated to a special drag performance put together by the incredible talents of PLOT TWIST: Mx. Gay Rochester 2025: CHINTZ MCMAHON, FAWNA, and XALVADOR XTRAÑO, alongside the newly crowned Miss Gay Rochester 2026: CARMEN ADORE. You will be treated to two drag performances on the JUICE BOX’s stage, so bring cash to tip these amazing performers.

We’re excited to welcome 2026 with you all once again with CITRUS JUICE TWIST! This is a NEW YEAR’S EVE party, so there is no specific dress theme. Just dress in whatever is queer and/or New Year's Eve to you. Be flashy. Be comfy. Wear the rainbow. Wear the sparkles. But most importantly, be proud! JUICE BOX is a party that prioritizes queerness across the spectrum, creativity over conformity, and community connectivity. Your looks will just add to the magic of the night, and are not a requirement for entry. The only requirement we have for you is to have fun!

CITRUS is the monthly Sapphic(+) party here in Rochester, centering anyone who feels seen with the term, along with music provided by local sapphic DJs spinning everything hot and good for the babes. CITRUS also offers other fun supports at the event such as free lollipops (for dancing, flirting, or for looking cute when you don’t know what to do with your hands) and chill zones (no moving lights and softer music) with conversation cards and games. CITRUS is currently being hosted at The Avenue Pub.

JUICE BOX is one of the legendary queer dance parties here in the Western New York area. JUICE BOX is an inclusive queer dance party with the top priority of providing a safe and inviting space for queer folks, especially BIPOC, trans, and non-binary folks to dance and connect with other individuals in the community. JUICE BOX is currently being hosted at Water Street Music Hall.

PLOT TWIST is the new alt drag show highlighting alternative and up-and-coming drag artists in the Western NY area. PLOT TWIST is currently being hosted at Bar Bad Ending.

GUIDELINES:

CITRUS JUICE TWIST is a queer dance party, made by queer people, for queer people and their allies. We welcome everyone, but please respect our space. You will be asked to leave the premises if you violate any of our guidelines.

• Homophobia, transphobia, femmephobia, racism, violence, or any discrimination of any kind is not tolerated.
• Consent is sexy and REQUIRED. Do not touch someone without their consent.
• The DJs will not be taking any requests.
• The dancefloor is for dancing. Please keep conversation and phone use to a minimum on the dancefloor. No staring/leering.
• Look out for and help each other. Inform the security staff if you or someone needs any help.
• Be patient and kind to the staff. Don’t forget to close your tab and tip your bartenders.
• Smoking is only allowed outside. No outside food (besides Mad Potatoes) or drinks are allowed.
• Be careful when using the stairs and balconies. No open drinks over the railing.
• All restrooms are gender neutral. There are restrooms available on both the ground floor and the balcony (on the club side).
• We highly recommend carpooling or ridesharing. A limited amount of free street parking is available near Water St. Music Hall. Follow all posted signage, lock your vehicle, & hide any valuables.
• Free health amenities such as earplugs, first-aid, safe sex, menstrual, and harm reduction products will be available at the Trillium Health table.
• There will be self-serve and paid coat check. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to the items left at the self-serve coat check.
• Door tickets will be available based on capacity at $20. Both cash and cards are accepted. ATM is also available on site.
