About this Event

This museum-admission event offers outdoor and indoor circus workshops and shows. All circus activities are included with paid museum admission! Admission is $24 for adults and children, $16 for Florida residents, and free for MCM members and children under 12 months.

Step right up for a day of wonder and excitement! Join us for Circus Day on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Miami Children's Museum located in 980 MacArthur Cswy, Miami, FL 33132

Presented by LADD Miami Circus Arts Center, and with generous sponsorship by Miami Downtown Development Authority, this vibrant, family-friendly event transforms the museum into a magical circus wonderland. Enjoy awe-inspiring performances, hands-on workshops, interactive activations, and endless fun — perfect for kids and families of all ages.

Highlights include:

Outdoor Aerial Shows and workshops (Hammock and Hula-Hoops) – Set 1: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Set 2: 4:15 PM – 5:00 PM. Face painting and balloon twisting stations.
Theater Show: Zoolandia – A mix of professional artists and talented youth students performing in the museum’s theater, with a special dedicatory performance dedicated to the FIFA World Cup 2026 – Show 1: 12:30 AM – 1:00 PM | Show 2: 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM
Aerial Silks and Trapeze performances from the balcony of the atrium at 12:10 PM, 1:10 PM, 2:10 PM, and 3:10 PM
Lollipop performances and workshop in the Central Hall – 1:30 PM – 2:10 PM
Activation entertainment in the Cruise Room (2:30 PM – 2:40 PM) and Fitness Room (2:50 PM – 3:00 PM)
And much more circus magic throughout the museum!
