Learn to manipulate light for more dramatic effect - deep diving into light modifiers, portraiture and scene building with fixed light.
About this Event

Join Alexandre Archimbaud for a new 3-hour workshop dedicated to the craft of shaping dramatic and cinematic imagery through the use of fixed lighting sources. This session will take place at Daydream Studios @ The Lab, a legendary Copenhagen location celebrated for its available light, with a focus exclusively on creating atmosphere through constructed light.

Using gobos, mirrors, black wrap and other simple practical tools, we will explore how to sculpt light with precision, working with shadows soft or impactful into the frame. We will create portrait and object scenes that feel filmic and dimensional.

This workshop welcomes all photographers, whether you have attended our previous workshops or are new to the Leica Akademie. All cameras are welcome and Leica Q, SL, and M cameras will be available to borrow for the duration of the workshop (please ensure to bring a photo ID to loan a camera).
