🎞️ About the Film:
Havana, spring of 1971. After being released, poet Heberto Padilla appears before the Cuban Writers' Guild to deliver a shocking “self-criticism.” In his statement, he confesses to being a counterrevolutionary agent and denounces his own colleagues, including his wife. This powerful documentary sheds light on a defining moment in Cuban history and its ongoing struggle for freedom of expression.
