About this Event

We're extremely excited for our first in-person event of the year hosted at Community Wine & Spirits in Chelsea and featuring our Snail of Approval restaurant, Roscioli. Mattia Moliterni, manager of Roscioli, will be giving a talk on the topic of Slow Wine. We look forward to seeing you there!

The $30 ticket price includes admission to the talk as well as 2 glasses of wine curated by Community Wine and bites from Roscioli selected to pair with the wine.
About our speaker Mattia: Mattia Moliterni, born in Rome and a law graduate; began working for Viteculture, a company in the hospitality world focused on restaurant startups and event production. In 2017 he was hired by Roscioli as a consultant for the opening of Rimessa Roscioli; after a few months he became a partner in the Roscioli Group. In 2018 he followed the start-up of Roscioli Wine Club expanding his expertise to the world of logistics, export and e-commerce. In 2023 he opened Roscioli NYC of which he is currently managing partner and has been awarded by the rest of the group to opportunity to manage the expansion of the brand in the US.

About Community Wine: Community is about more than wine and spirits. Our community is composed of rock climbers, photographers, parents, singles, runners, audiophiles, auto enthusiasts, sports fans, opera attendees, foodies, business owners, and book club members… who all happen to love relaxing with a great beverage. As advocates for our community, we use our space to host all different kinds of events. Founded in Chelsea, New York, Community Wine and Spirits is a space we built to stoke the imagination and pique the thirst of anyone who comes through our doors.

About Roscioli: Finding connection can be a challenge in a big city – but nothing really seems to bring people together like a good bottle of wine or a great meal in a place that encourages you to let loose and be taken care of. When the Niche Niche & Rimessa Roscioli team met, it was clear they shared that in common. With a commitment to make everyday luxuries more approachable and accessible while never compromising on quality the idea to bring such an iconic institution like Roscioli to NYC was not a decision made lightly.
