CIBSE North West | First Technical Event of 2026
We’re delighted to announce CIBSE North West’s first technical event of 2026, delivered in collaboration with BESA, taking place at 6pm, Wednesday 28 January 2026.
Joining us will be: Rachel Davidson, BESA Director, and Kevin Morrissey, BESA Technical Director, for a panel discussion exploring the findings of the Building Safety Act (BSA) Industry Report.
The report highlights high levels of awareness of the BSA across the sector and a broadly positive impact on organisations. However, it also reveals mixed levels of understanding depending on building and project types, with compliance and legal clarity emerging as the biggest challenges. A clear message from industry is the need for more training opportunities and improved access to the regulator to support effective implementation.
The evening will include an overview of the BESA Building Safety Act Industry report followed by a Q&A panel discussion.
