About this Event
As part of The Lanesborough's 2024 programme of wine dinners hosted in partnership with esteemed winemakers from the UK and Europe, we are delighted to announce the Château d’Esclans Rosé Wine Dinner.
Château d’Esclans is located on an exceptional site on the Mediterranean coast, in the heart of Provence, near St. Tropez. The château’s cellar structure (the oldest in the region) housed an original château in 1201. The current château, inspired by a Tuscan villa, was built during the mid-19th century.
Today of course, Château d’Esclans is known as the maker of the world's most famous Provence rosé - Whispering Angel.
The event will be hosted by Château d'Esclans' Brand Ambassador, Kelly Stevenson, and The Lanesborough's Head Sommelier, Raffaele Leonardo Silvestre to talk diners through the tasting notes of these stunning rosé wines. Hosted within the the luxurious Lanesborough hotel's Wine Cellar and adjoining Westminster Room, guests will enjoy five rosé wines, including Whispering Angel, Rock Angel, Les Clans, Garrus and Château d’Esclans, paired with a four-course menu of modern British dishes by Executive Chef, Shay Cooper.
