London-born turntablist Charles Joseph, known as Chux, is a self-educated music enthusiast spanning all genres and eras. Co-founding London Collective The Pipe Dreamers, he gained recognition for their ILLICIT nights at London's Ace Hotel. Chux's success ranges from intimate 150-400 person venues to playing in stadiums for 15,000+. With extensive touring experience alongside artists like OthaSoul and Barney Artist, he's supported legends like DJ Jazzy Jeff and Little Simz. Official DJ for Barney Artist since 2018, Chux has toured the UK and Europe, playing festivals like Glastonbury and Fresh Island Festival in Croatia. In 2019, Chux made his mark in Asia, performing in South Korea and Taiwan. Immersed in South Africa's Amapiano music since 2021, he's become a go-to DJ for the genre in the UK. Beyond the music scene, Chux has a strong presence in the corporate DJ world, playing for UEFA, Arsenal's Champions League games, and collaborating with brands like Nike, NFL, and Facebook. With a versatile career, Chux continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
