100+ beers. One afternoon. Chucktown Brewdown is back, and this is your chance to taste what Charleston’s next wave of brewers has been working on before anyone else does. Twenty homebrewing teams from across the Lowcountry are pouring everything they’ve got, stouts, sours, lagers, wheat beers, Belgians, and more, all in one place, all for you to try.
Your ticket gets you access to sample across the entire lineup from 1 to 5 p.m., so you can bounce from booth to booth and find your favorites.
There’s also a featured IPA competition this year, where every team starts with the same base ingredients and takes it in their own direction. Some will keep it classic. Others won’t.
And this isn’t just a one-day thing. Brewers who started here have gone on to open spots like Coffin Island Brewing and Wyrd Sisters Brewing. Even our own head brewer Justin got his start right here. You’re not just drinking beer, you’re seeing what’s next.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $30 at the door if there’s space left. Capacity is limited, and this one fills up.
