About this Event
Christmas in a Box is a resource developed by Bristol Schools Connection. It's aimed at children of primary school age and is flexible to fit a range of contexts. It's been created for churches to offer and host in their local school/s. However, whether you are a church volunteer or a teacher, Christmas in a Box provides a fun and educational opportunity for spiritual development.
Children literally unpack the Christmas Story from boxes which relate to the different characters in the nativity. We've had amazing feedback from volunteers, staff and children from across the UK since it was first used in 2020.
Head Teacher: "The content of the material was accessible to every child in our school, children of all different faiths and none."

This training session will introduce you to the resource and give opportunity to talk through how it might apply in your local school and to ask questions. Whether you're a church who usually connects/would like to connect with your local school at Christmas, or a teacher looking for a new way to tell the story, Christmas in a Box is a great way to share the Christmas story in a lively and innovative way.
