Join tutor Alex from Out The Box Crafts for another seasonal sewing class. Make your own adorable highland coo bauble to decorate your home or tree!
All the materials you need are included with expert tuition to make sure you leave with your very own handmade fuzzy Christmas bauble to take home with you. More experienced stitchers may be able to finish two decorations in the time allotted.
This class is designed for age 16+ but children over 12yrs can attend with an adult (both must book a space). Experience of basic hand sewing is essential.
Tutor: Alex(they/she) of @outtheboxcrafts has been teaching craft skills for15+ years. They have a wealth of experience developing projects for different groups, having taught in therapeutic settings, at community events, parties and school holiday clubs.
The Venue: Creative Bloc Glasgow is a new arts collective and creative studio in Glasgow North-West. 814 Garscube Road, G20 7ET.
Public transport:
First busses 60, 60A, 61 - Bluebird X10, X10A and West Coast Motors 17 all stop on Maryhill Road just 2 minutes walk away.
Kelvinbridge and St Georges Cross underground are approx 17mins walk.
Car:
There is on-street parking on Garscube Rd and a small visitors carpark at the back entrance, accessed via Firhill Rd.
Entrance to the studio is via one small step at the front door on Garscube road and there is level access from the car park at the back. Please email [email protected] for more accessibility information.
You should have time to make at least onebaubleduring the session, more experienced stitchers may manage two.
