Christmas Card Needle Felting Workshop – We are very excited to host this unique and festive workshop making felted Christmas Cards using needle felting techniques, with Caroline from Rock ‘N Wool Creations.
This is an ideal workshop for beginners to needle felting, or those wanting to gain a little more confidence in working with wool. You will learn how to make a 2d picture using needle felting techniques, which will be attached to a Christmas Card for someone very special.
BUT… that’s not all! The fantastic twist to this idea, is that the card is also a gift. Your 2d design can be a Christmas scene to be framed and treasured, OR it can be hung as a Christmas decoration OR made into a brooch. So your card to be displayed on a mantlepiece, is also a gift to be used for years to come! We love this! Of course, you could also make a 2d wreath or piece of mistletoe to hang from your own tree!
Caroline will give you the guidance, felting techniques and support required to create your 2d felted creation. No experience necessary. Workshop attendees will make 1-3 card decorations, depending on the sophistication and size of their design.
Caroline will have lots of ideas for your 2d creation including a Christmas tree Scene, a snowy scene, a wreath or some mistletoe. But, if you want to take the opportunity to create your own unique scene, she will help you with that too. The colours and choices of textured wools will make your creations your own and to your personal preference. You will leave with your new creation, ready to show off somewhere special or give as a gift to a friend.
This workshop runs on the same day as her Needle Felting 3d Christmas Baubles workshop where you can select from a range of Christmas characters including a robin, reindeer, snowman, Christmas pudding or polar bear. Why not book both workshops together for a whole day of Needle felting!
You will leave with your new creation, ready to show off somewhere special or give as a gift to a friend.

Caroline from Rock ‘N Wool Creations has been running some gorgeous workshops at Southern Maltings in Needle Felting, Watercolour and Ink Doodle and Botanical Printmaking. Caroline teaches a number of different creative workshops and classes in various mediums, including watercolour and ink, botanical mono printing, needle felting, lampshade making, candle and paper making. We are currently hosting a number of her workshops and courses at Southern Maltings, over the course of this year.
