Christmas Bauble Needle Felting Workshop – We are very excited to host this cute and festive workshop making felted a Christmas bauble using needle felting techniques with Caroline from Rock ‘N Wool Creations.This is an ideal workshop for beginners to needle felting or those wanting to gain a little more confidence in working with wool. You will learn how to cover a polystyrene foundation and then learn how to create, shape and attach additions to give your bauble personality and character. You will learn a thing or two about needle felting, and enjoy a sociable and friendly experience.
Whether this decoration hangs on your tree or sits on your mantlepiece as part of your Christmas decorations, it is sure to be a talking point.
Caroline will give you the guidance, felting techniques and support required to create your 3d felted creation. No experience necessary.
You can select from a range of Christmas characters including a robin, reindeer, snowman, Christmas pudding or polar bear. The colours and choices of textured wools will make your creations unique and to your personal preference.
You will leave with your new creation, ready to show off somewhere special or give as a gift to a friend.
Tuition, all resources and tea, coffee and mince pies are included.
Caroline from Rock ‘N Wool Creations has been running some gorgeous workshops at Southern Maltings in Needle Felting, Watercolour and Ink Doodle, Botanical Printmaking and Lampshade Making. Caroline teaches a number of different creative workshops and classes in various mediums, including watercolour and ink, botanical mono printing, needle felting, lampshade making, candle and paper making. We are currently hosting a number of her workshops and courses at Southern Maltings, over the course of this year.

The workshop is being run with a maximum capacity of 12 and will run from 10am – 1pm on Monday 25th November.
The session will be held in our lower function space.
This workshop is suitable for anyone aged 14+
This Needle Felting Christmas Bauble Workshop is costed at £30 including all materials.
