Ryan Hanifl is a songwriter, singer, and producer from La Crescent, Minnesota, writing songs that feel weathered, cinematic, and hard-won. After years in bands, studios, and the world of film and television music, he returned to the work that was always his to begin with.
A longtime member of Globus, Hanifl has also played key roles in Vertices, Your Horrible Smile, Black Belt Karate, and The Hugeness. Across those projects, he built a voice shaped by alternative rock, emotional tension, and a love of melody that does not flinch.
