About this Event
Co-Sponsored with Therapy With Heart
This in-person community event will feature a recorded EFT live session facilitated by Elana Katz, with her commentary throughout. She will pause and review key moments to walk participants through her clinical decision-making, EFT interventions, and tango moves as they unfold. The event is designed to support both learning and community building, offering therapists an opportunity to deepen their understanding of EFT while connecting in a relaxed and supportive environment. We are especially excited to welcome Elana from New York and to learn from her experience and expertise.
Elana Katz, LCSW, LMFT, is a Supervisor and Trainer in Emotionally Focused Therapy and a senior faculty member at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in New York. Elana has presented nationally and internationally, most frequently in New York, the Midwest, South Carolina and Israel. She is a Co-Director of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at NYCEFT (New York Center for EFT) where she served on the Executive Board for 12 years. Elana has also applied her knowledge of emotions and disrupted attachment to help clients and their professional teams intercept the recurring patterns that shape high conflict divorce. Her private practice is in New York..
