As Chinese New Year begins on 17th February 2026, Lee Kum Kee invites you to pause, reflect and share a meaningful moment of connection in one of London’s busiest spaces.

The Wishing Tree Experience

Inspired by traditional Chinese New Year customs, the Wishing Tree offers a moment of calm and reflection during your day.

Visitors are invited to:

  • Scan the QR code on a wishing card
  • Submit a personal wish
  • Hang their wish on the Wishing Tree
  • Become part of a living display of shared hopes and gratitude

At the centre of the installation is KeeKee, Lee Kum Kee’s new mascot which a tiny oyster with a big heart, guiding guests through the traditions and meaning behind Chinese New Year in a playful and welcoming way.

As the day unfolds, the tree grows with wishes, creating a powerful symbol of collective optimism and togetherness.

Win a Wish Competition

Turn your wish into something real.

Visitors can enter the Win a Wish competition by scanning the QR code at the Wishing Tree and submitting a short-written wish or video focused on togetherness, gratitude or a meaningful moment they would love to create.
