Chinese New Year Festival and Parade in San Francisco is a world-renowned event celebrating the Lunar New Year with illuminated night parades, traditional performances, and cultural festivities. Named one of the top ten parades globally.

- Opening Ceremony: January 29, 2025.

- Chinese New Year Parade: February 15, 2025.

Chinese New Year Parade :
The San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade celebrating the Year of the Snake will be on Saturday, February 15, 2025. It is a free event for all to attend but tickets must be purchased to sit in the bleacher sections, Tickets:$45 – $75 per ticket.
Parade Route: The parade route starts at 2nd and Market Streets, loops around Union Square, and ends at Kearny Street & Columbus Ave (1.3 miles).
TIP: The entire parade route offers great viewing, but areas closer to Chinatown are more crowded.
If you have bleacher tickets, ensure you check in to your assigned section by 4:00 PM for a guaranteed seat.
Note that streets will begin closing at 3:00 PM, so plan your travel accordingly to avoid delays.
