2025 Dreaded Ninth (Kirby Cove)

• This swim is open to SERC members only.  Registration cost is $85. No refunds if you need to withdraw after registering. 
• We will be swimming with a light flood, in approximately 52-55 degree water 
• Swimmers will be required to wear yellow caps 
• Swimmers will be grouped into 5 pods of 4 swimmers of similar speeds, each pod will have 1 RIB and 1 kayaker for support
• Swimmers will be responsible for providing and carrying their own feeds during the swim
• Swim buoys are highly encouraged for added visibility and safety in the water
• No timer will be provided - if you wish to track your swim, bring your own GPS watch :) 
• Target jump time at Kirby Cove is ~6 am. The final timeline will be released by the Swim Director after the test swim has been completed on 2/8.
