Experience the beauty of Chinese calligraphy in this workshop designed for beginners. Begin with an introduction to its rich history and cultural significance, followed by a hands-on session exploring the “Four Treasures of the Study” (brush, ink, paper, and ink stone.) Learn proper brush handling, posture, and practise basic strokes in the Kai script (楷书), including writing your own name. The session concludes with a personal artwork a meaningful phrase or couplet showcasing your new skills. This workshop offers a thoughtful and artistic introduction to calligraphy as both a cultural tradition and expressive art form
