About this Event
As a Chinese American, I realized I didn't know nearly enough about the literature my own people produce... so this book club is here to fix that.
This club is for anyone curious about books written by Chinese authors, whether translated from Chinese or written by members of the Chinese diaspora. No cultural background required, all are welcome!
For our first session, we're reading The Three Body Problem by Cixin Liu. This is meant to be a casual and fun experience, don't feel pressured to be deep. A great excuse to meet new people over coffee or tea.
We are limiting to 10 sign ups to respect the space at Lau Lau, so grab a ticket before they're gone. Tickets are free and include complimentary coffee/tea!
