The China (Hubei) – UK Friendship and Cooperation Promotion Event celebrates the longstanding friendship between China and the United Kingdom, and explores new horizons for bilateral collaboration.

Located in central China along the Yangtze River, Hubei Province stands as a powerhouse in economy, science and education, ecology, and agriculture. In 2024, Hubei’s GDP exceeded ¥6 trillion, achieving a growth rate of 5.8% and ranking sixth nationwide. The province is a leader in sectors such as telecommunication, automotive innovation, high-end equipment manufacturing, and green development.

With a strong foundation in science and technology, Hubei is committed to deepening its global engagement — particularly with the UK — in areas such as trade, investment, education, cultural exchange, tourism, and sustainable innovation.
