One easy and essential way to learn how to properly install your car seat is to have a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician check your seat and teach you how to use it.
Safe Kids Greater Dallas led by Children’s Health offers free car seat checks by appointment; this service is open to anyone and takes approximately 30 minutes. This is a very hands-on appointment so be ready to participate in the installation process. If your car seat needs* to be replaced you will need to bring a $15/per seat donation.
